Introduction

Hey, it's Dey(ana)!

I don't have a name for this blog yet, nor do I have a concrete idea of what exactly I'll be writing about or how consistently, but I figured I might as well start somewhere if I'm going to get anywhere.

I'll probably start off with some book reviews and gush about landing.space -- my absolute favorite mood boarding platform and community on the internet (and also the basis for a lot of the images currently on the home page).

As much as I admire Medium, am nostalgic for Tumblr, and would probably be better off discovery-wise using a platform with a built-in social network, I kind of wanted to do things my own way (or...well, Wix's way, I guess). And in the spirit of maintaining this website as a portfolio of sorts (as I like to call it, a pseudo-portfolio because an actual portfolio would be much more organized and thematic), I kind of like that I get to log on here, type with nearly no distractions, and play around with the blog genre.

Anyway, I'm already rambling! If you're not a fan of em dashes, parenthetical inserts, books, mood boards, fashion/beauty, hobby-hopping, and stream-of-consciousness writing....very sorry that you've somehow stumbled upon this blog. And if you do enjoy these things -- hi! Welcome! And thank you!
